The Texas Rangers managed to take game one of their series against the Tampa Bay Rays. After splitting four games with the Yankees, the Rays will look to bounce back from yesterday's loss by sending Rich Hill to the mound. So far this season, he has posted a 3.32 ERA with 60 strikeouts and 19 walks in 57.0 innings. The rangers have to be happy with yesterday's win after being swept by the Colorado Rockies. This will look to continue the momentum by sending Colby Allard to the mound. So far this season, he has posted a 3.38 ERA with 27 strikeouts and seven walks in 24.0 innings.

The Rays are 6-1 in their last seven versus a lefty starter and are 23-7 in their last 30 overall. The Rangers are 7-19 in their last 26 overall. Over his last six starts, the Ray's Hill has a 1.11 ERA with 46 Ks in 40.2 innings. Allard is coming off his first start of the season in which he gave up just two earned on two hits in 4.0 innings his last time up. Hill has been outstanding and Allard is learning how to be a starter. I like the Rays to bounce back big here.
