It is an afternoon matchup between AL Central rivals when the Minnesota Twins take on the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox have taken the first two games of the three-game set and will look for a sweep today by sending Carlos Rodon to the mound. Rodon is starting to emerge as the ace of the staff this season and has posted a 6-3 record with a 2.06 ERA with 113 strikeouts in 78.2 innings. The Twins will look to salvage a game by countering with Jose Berrios on the mound. He has posted a 3.41 ERA this season with 96 strikeouts and 23 walks in 89.2 innings.

Rodon has not had great success against the Twins in his career but this is a different Rodon this season. Berrios has pitched well against the Sox in his career but like the Twins, he has not been on the top of his game this season. The Sox have been battling with injuries all season but still have found ways to wins. I like the Sox to get the sweep today and to put more distance between them and the Twins.
