AFTERNOON DELIGHT (11-5 MLB Playoffs)
(MLB) Houston vs. Chi White Sox,
Money Line: 102.00 Houston (Away)
Result: Win
The Chicago White Sox and the Houston Astros were rained out yesterday for Game 3 of the ALDS. The Astros are looking to close out the White Sox after falling in Game 3. The Astros were up 5-1 in the game but ended up on the wrong side of a 12-6 decision. The Astros will look to close out the series by sending Lance McCullers to the mound. During the regular season, he posted a 13-5 record with a 3.16 ERA. The Sox got the bats going in game three pounding out a 12-6 win. The Sox will counter with Carlos Rodon on the mound. Rodon finished the regular season with a 13-5 record with a 2.37 ERA.

The Astros are 20-8 in their last 28 Divisional Playoff games. The Sox are 69-32 in their last 101 at home.

Rodon pitched well at the beginning of the season but has been dealing with an injured shoulder over the last couple of months and has not seen a lot of action. He’s thrown just 28 innings since August 1 and hasn’t gone deeper than five innings in a game since July 18. Houston might have caught a break with the rainout as they had a chance to shake off the beatdown in game 3 and can throw McCullers out on the mound. I am a sox fan but I can't trust Rodon or LaRussa in this spot.

Play on Houston.
