Michigan State comes into this game ranked 10th in the country, they are 2-0 in the Big 10 and are riding a six-game winning streak. Northwestern has not taken the court since Dec. 20. They did not play well in their first game back from break but came away with an 81-68 win over High Point. Northwestern has played just three games in December, having two games canceled due to COVID. The Wildcats have not faced a Division I team in three weeks, and the Spartans will be the best team they have faced all season. The Spartans are one of the tallest teams in the country, so they should be able to control the boards on both ends of the court giving them extra chances and limiting their opponent's second chances. MSU is shooting 40 percent from deep this season. MSU's shooting and rebounding will allow them to get a difficult Big 10 road win.
