The Miami Marlins are going for a series sweep of the Washington Nationals. The nationals will hand the ball to Josiah Gray fr today's start and the Marlins will counter with Pablo Lopez. Gray is 4-3 this season with a 4.34 ERA. Lopez comes in sporting a 4-1 record with a minuscule 1.05 ERA.

The Nationals come into this game having lost five of their last six games and they have dropped seven of the last ten against Miami. Washington’s pitching staff is one of the worst in the league as they are giving up 5.17 runs per game with a 4.98 ERA and 1.47 WHIP. The Marlins have won four of their last six games. Miami is giving up 3.85 runs a game with a team ERA of 3.39 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP. Washington has scored more than two runs just once in their last five games and will have trouble scoring off of Lopez. Lopez has given up six runs in seven starts. He has given up five runs in four home starts and two runs in his last three starts against the Nationals. Gray has given up nine runs in his last two starts and will be facing Marlin's bats that have scored 20 in their last three home games. Take Lopez and the Marlins in what could turn out to be a laugher.
