The Georgia Southern Eagles take on the UAB Blazers in college football action. Georgia Southern was able to take a three-point win over Nebraskaka and in the aftermath, Scott Frost was fired. UAB is coming off a seven-point loss to Liberty. The Eagles' offense was virtually unstoppable against Nebraska. They put up 642 yards of total offense and averaged 7.5 yards a play and totaled 34 first downs. Georgia Southern punted just once and had only three penalties. GA Southern is 2-0 in their last 2 games against the spread. UAB is 0-1 in their road games against the spread. I look for Eagles'quarterback Kyle Vantrease to have a big day against a talented UAB defense. Gerald Green and Jalen White are very capable at running the rock and with Vantrese's passing ability I like them to keep this one close if not win outright. Takes the points with Ga. Southern.
