TNF TOTAL MAYHEM
(NFL) Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland,
Total: 38.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 38.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
Both Pittsburgh and Cleveland are coming off losses, none more disappointing than Cleveland's final two-minute meltdown against the Jets. The Steelers started the season riding high with an overtime win against Cincinnati but came back to earth in game two losing to New England. Cleveland let a game get away from last week, a game they had won before imploding. The Steelers have struggled on offense to start the season and it may only be a matter of time before they make a move from quarterback Mitch Trubisky. He has thrown for 362 yards and two touchdowns. Najee Harris has rushed for just 72 yards and no touchdowns in two games. Jacoby Brissett, playing until Wasson returns, led the Browns to a 26-24 win in game one and a 30-17 lead in game two with two minutes to go, and then the Browns did Brown who led the team to a 26-24 win's things and found a way to lose that game. Brissett has thrown for 376 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The Browns rushing attack had a dynamic 1-2 punch in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.
These teams have a tendency to play tough defense and they seem to go under the total when they meet. The Steelers don't have much of a passing and with that Harris cannot find space to run against a loaded box. Pittsburgh has gone under the total in four of its last five games. Cleveland loves to run the ball and with Brisset at quarterback, they won't take a lot of chances on offense. The Browns have gone under in six of their last nine games, and they have gone under in five of their last seven games against the Steelers.
