The Vikings laid an egg on Monday night. Not only was Kirk Cousins terrible in that game but the Vikings' defense was exposed by the Eagles' rushing attack. They should be able to get their offense going as once again the Lions are weak in pass defense, ranking in the bottom third of the league. The Lions are giving up over200 yards through the air and I expect Justin Jefferson to take full advantage of this weakness. The Lions have made a living on the ground this season and will need to establish that early. Cousins could have a big day and Jefferson should be able to get all he wants against the Lions. The Lions have not had trouble scoring this season and should find success with Swift and St. Brown. The Lions have gone to the over in four straight games and the Vikings are 8-1 to the over in their last nine games after losing the previous game by 14 or more points. The Over is 4-2 in the last six between the two teams. I am looking for a shootout in this one.
