The New York Giants are a surprising 2-0 this season and will take on the 1-1 Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East rivalry game. The Cowboys swept the series last year winning quite easily 44-20 and 21-6. Dallas went 12-5 last season but lost Dak Prescott for 4-8 weeks with an injury to start this season. Backup QB Cooper Rush led the Cowboys to a 20-17 win over the Bengals last week. He went 19 for 31 passing for 235 yards with one touchdown in the win. The Giants went 4-13 last season, ending with six straight losses but are off to a hot start this season winning their first two games. New York is fifth in the NFL rushing for 170.5 yards a game but struggles in the passing game. The defense is 10th allowing 197.5 passing yards, and 18th allowing 119.5 rushing yards per game. The Giants are a one-dimensional team right now relying on the run. Dallas has been really aggressive on defense and will give the Giants problems when they do have to pass. Rush is no Dak but he is competent and the Cowboys will rely on Elliott and Pollard to move the ball and control the game. The Giants are putting up just 20 points a game and do it mostly with a run-heavy offense. I look for the Cowboys to stack the box and try to make Daniel Jones beat him with his arm. Something he has not been able to do so far this season. The Cowboys are putting up just 11.5 points a game which is the second worst in the league. The Giants' defense is allowing just 18 ppg. Dallas will also try to run Elliot and Pollard to take some pressure off of Rush. I am not looking for a lot of points in this one.
