(NCAAF) Georgia State vs. Army,
Point Spread: -8.00 | -110.00 Army (Home)
Result: Loss
Georgia State is still looking for thier first win and Army is not really the type of team most teams like to play. They have not had an easy schedule to start the season, facing the likes of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Coastal Carolina. Army picked up a win last week over Villanova after losing its first two games of the season. Their offense has been good enough, putting up at least 24 points in three of their four games. The offense is led by Darren Grainger with 871 passing yards, to go with nine touchdowns and four interceptions and he has rushed for 185 yards. They use a running back by committee approach with four players having over 165 yards. Their defense has been the problem as they have given up 35 points or more in every game this season so far. They are giving up 141.4 yards on the ground and I expect that that number will be a lot bigger after Saturday. The Black Knights lost to Coastal Carolina and UTSA in their first two games this season. When it comes to Army it is all about the rushing attack. Tyrell Robinson has been the top rusher with 23 carries for 249 yards and a touchdown. Army can at least throw the ball as Cade Ballard completed 67% of his passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. Army has won 15 of its last 17 home games. Army's win was two weeks ago so they have has time to rest up and get ready for Georgia State. Georgia State has played a tough schedule to start the season and is banged up coming into this game. Georgia State has not been good against the run and that is not a good thing coming into this game. I don't see Georgia State slowing down the Army rushing attack in this one. I am looking for Army to wear down the Georgia State defense and pull away late.

Play on Army.
