The 17th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies, having gotten by Arkansas at home now must go on the road to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Texas A&M Aggies have made the move to Max Johnson as starting quarterback but the key to getting this offense going is for running back Devon Achane to step up. They suffered a big loss in wide receiver Ainias Smith being lost for the season. They are putting up 21.3 points a game. They have relied on their defense so far this season and they have responded by allowing just 11.8 points and 330 total yards a game. The Mississippi State Bulldog's offense is rising high under Mike Leach, as they are putting up 37.3 points a game. Will Rogers is second in passing yards and tied for the lead in the country with passing touchdowns. He has thrown for 1,386 yards with 16 touchdown passes and three interceptions. On the defensive side, they are giving up 21.3 points and 319.3 total yards a game.

Mississippi State is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 October games while Texas A&M is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games vs a team with a winning record and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 conference games. Mississippi State has the superior quarterback while Texas A&M is the superior team. I am looking for the A%M defense to dominate in this game. Texas A&M is allowing 153.3 passing yards a game.

The Texas A&M offense leaves a lot to be desired no matter who is playing quarterback. This Aggies defense is elite once again this season and should be able to slow down the Mississippi State offense. The Aggies are allowing 11.8 points per game while the Bulldogs are giving up 21.3 points a game this season. The under has hit in each of the previous four games for the Aggies as well as being hit in 43 of the last 63 Bulldogs conference games.
