The Cal Golden Bears head north to take on the Washington State Cougars in Pac-12 action, Cal is coming off a 49-31 win over Arizona while Washington State lost 44-41 to Oregon. The Golden Bears are 3-1 overall and stand 1-0 in the Pac-12. Cal ranks 74th in passing offense with 243.8 yards a game and 56th in rushing offense with 176.3 yards a game. They are 75th in scoring offense with 30 points a game and 43rd in scoring defense allowing 20.5 points a game.

Washington State did everything but beat Oregon last week. The Cougars are 3-1 overall and 0-1 in the Pac-12. The Cougars are 42nd in passing offense with 275.5 yards a game and 118th in rushing offense at 96.8 yards a game. They are 78th in scoring offense at 30 points a game and the defense is 47th in scoring at 20.5 points a game.

Both the Golden Bears and the Cougars have relied on the rushing game. The Bears have averaged 33.8 rushing attempts a game and the Cougars have 25 carries a game. If this holds to form we will see a lot of winding clock. The under has hit in five of the last six games against one another and this one is bound to go the same way.
