Point Spread: 1.00 | -109.00 Arizona (Away)
Result: Win
The Arizona Cardinals will take their 1-2 record on the road to take on the 1-2 Carolina Panthers. The Panthers picked up their first win last week and the Cardinals dropped their game to the Rams. The Cardinals very easily could be 0-3 this season. Last season, the Cards were 8-1 on the road and they have won their only road game so far this season. The Cards come in with the 13th-ranked offense and 23rd-ranked defense. Carolina could be without a key offensive weapon for this game, Christian McCaffrey is dealing with an injury and may not be able to go. Baker Mayfield will need to step and make plays for the offense.
Carolina is 7-22 ATS against a team with a losing record and 0-4 ATS last 4 after a SU win. Arizona is 7-1 ATS in their last eight games in October. McCaffrey would be a major loss for the offense if he can't go. The Cardinal's offense is missing A.J. Green and DeAndre Hopkins but hasn't been all that bad, I am looking for a big game from Kyler Murray as he looks to show Baker who is the better OU quarterback in the NFL. Arizona has covered the spread in 19 of their last 28 games on the road. Carolina is 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 home games and 3-14 ATS in their last 17 games overall. I am not sure where all the love for Baker and the Panthers is coming from, considering McCaffery will not be 100%.
