This is not the matchup that was expected in the NLCS. San Diego disposed of two 100 win teams in the Mets and Dogers to reach this point while the Phillies knocked off the Cards and defending champs the Braves. In game one, we have two outstanding pitchers facing off in Zac Wheeler and Yu Darvish. Both Darvish and Wheeler will be expected to pitch deep into this game and they try to give their bullpen a rest for what looks to be like a long series. Darvish has a career 2.23 ERA in seven appearances against Philadelphia. Both pitchers have been outstanding in the playoffs. With a total set at 6.5, the Phillies have gone under this number in five of their last seven road games and the Padres have gone under this number in their last four at home.
