The Vegas Golden Knights took care of the Winnipeg Jets in five games, while the Edmonton Oilers eliminated the Los Angeles Kings in six games. Edmonton has the best two players in this series and in the first-round Connor McDavid had 10 points and Leon Draisaitl led the team with 11. Edmonton won three out of the four meetings this season. The Oilers scored four or more goals in the three wins against the Golden Knights and Edmonton and scored three in the other. Edmonton has too many weapons and Vegas will need to stay out of the penalty box as Edmonton scored on almost 6-% of their power plays in round one. The Oilers take the first game on the road.
