The Cubs' offense has cooled off and they are struggling to score runs. The Astros lineup has been good enough to win more games than they have lost but it has not been overpowering this season. Drew Smyly has been steady but not great this season and should be able to keep the Cubs in this game early. J.P. France has looked good in his first two starts and could be the next man up for the Astros in their rotation. The total has gone under in five of the Astros’ previous six games overall and five of their last seven outings at Minute Maid Park. The over is 6-0 in the Cubs’ last six contests overall. I think Smyly keeps the Cubs in this one and both offenses have been struggling to put runs on the board.
