The Cleveland Guardians will look to even their series with the Chicago Cubs. Cleveland lost the first game of the series 10-1. The Guardians will send Tanner Bibee to the mound while the Cubs will counter with Marcus Stroman. Tanner Bibee has posted a 4-2 record this season to go with a 3.79 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP. The Cubs snapped a four-game losing streak with their win yesterday. Marcus Stroman has been great for the Cubs this season. He is 9-5 with a 2.47 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. He had a blister issue in his last outing which hampered him and he did not pitch well. I look for him to bounce back in this outing. The Cubs have a huge advantage on the mound as long as there are no issues with Stroman's blister. The Guardians are 1-4 in their past five meetings in Chicago. Bibee has given up 11 runs in his last three starts. He gave up 12 runs in his last three road starts. The Guardians have lost five of their last nine road games. Stroman has given up five runs in his previous five starts. He gave up four runs in his last three starts at Wrigley Field and two runs in his last two starts against the Guardians. Everything points to the Cubs and I will be making this my 5% INTERLEAGUE Game of the MONTH.
