The Milwaukee Brewers will host the Cincinnati Reds in a battle of NL Central leaders. The Brewers are two games behind the Reds for the division lead. Andrew Abbott gets the start for the Reds. He has made six starts this season and has posted a 4-0 record with a 1.21 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP. Against the Padres in his last start, he was spectacular. he allowed one run on four hits in 7.2 innings and he struck out 12. The Brewers will have thier best starter on the mound when they hand the ball to Corbin Burnes. He struggled at the beginning of the season but has really turned it around. He allowed just two runs on one hit in seven innings last time out. The Brewers are only 17-23 against teams better than .500. The Reds are 6-1 in their last seven opening games to a series. Abbott has pitched really well since being brought up and the Reds are playing well right now, especially their offense.
