The Detroit Tigers look to close out their series with the Kansas City Royals after taking two of the first three games. Michael Lorenzen gets the start for the Tigers in this one. He is 4-6 this season with a 3.75 ERA and a 1.132 WHIP. He is 2-1 over his last three starts, posting a 2.70 ERA, a 1.08 WHIP. Zack Greinke is coming off the IL to make the start for this one. He has struggled this season, going 1-9 with a 5.44 ERA and a 1.295 WHIP. He is 0-2 over his last three, with a bloated 8.44 ERA and a 1.88 WHIP. Lorenzen has had back-to-back starts without allowing any runs, both Tiger's wins. With Grienke coming off the IL, you don't know what you will get and how long he can go. Detroit has been better offensively so I will take the Tigers in this one.
