San Diego Padres took Game 1 of their series with the Detroit Tigers and will look to ride that momentum in Game 2. Jackson Wolf gets the start for the Padres and will face off against Detroit's Matt Manning. Wolf will be making his first MLB start. At Double-A, he posted a 3.39 ERA with 104 strikeouts and just 20 walks in 89 innings. Detroit will look to even the series by sending Matt Manning to the mound. Manning is 3-1 this season after returning from injury. He has posted a 3.38 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP. Wolf is making his major league debut, so you never know what you will get. The Tigers will have the better pitcher going in this one with Manning on the mound. Over his last three starts, he went 17.1 innings with a 2.60 ERA and a 0.69 WHIP. Detroit has won three of its last five and five out of seven. The Padres have lost four out of their last seven overall. I am taking the Tigers in this one at + money as they have the better pitcher going in this one.
