Detroit will need a strong performance on the mound as they do not get it at the plate. They are 29th in the majors with a .665 OPS while scoring 3.9 runs per game. The Marlins are tied for 17th with a .720 OPS while scoring 4.12 runs per game. Detroit is 25-28 on the road while Miami is 32-21 at home. Tarik Skubal has made one road start since returning from injury and it did not go well. He is 0-1 with a 15.75 ERA and a .444 batting average against on the road. Luzardo is 4-2 with a 2.32 ERA and a .196 opposing batting average in 12 home games. Detroit has improved this season but I still like the Marlins to win this in what should be a close game.
