Both San Diego State and UCONN deploy elite defenses. While SDSU is known for their defense, UCONN can get it done on both ends of the court. UCONN has covered in eight of its last nine games. San Diego State has their struggles on the offensive end, especially from deep, where they rank 301st in three point percentage. They usually can make it up with a rebounding advantage but they won’t have that in this game as the Huskies can rebound as well. This is a lot of points but I do not trust the SDSU offense to score enough points. This is a game UCONN could lose but everything must go wrong for that to happen. I think there is a better chance for a blowout than a close game.
