The Philadelphia Eagles are on the road to take on the New Orleans Saints. The Eagles let one get away Monday night while the Saints stormed out of the gate at 2-0. hat span. The Eagles are 1-1 on the season and are tied for the top spot in the NFC East. Philadelphia is 5th in the league in scoring offense at 27.5 points a game while they are 27th in scoring defense, allowing 25.5 points a game. Jalen Hurts has thrown for 461 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed for 118 yards and a score. Saquon Barkley leads the team with 204 yards and two scores on the ground. The New Orleans offense has been reborn this season. They have scored more than 40 points in each game this season. They are 1st in the league in scoring offense at 45.5 points a game and are 4th in scoring defense, allowing 14.5 points a game. Derek Carr has thrown for 441 yards with five touchdowns and one interception. Jamaal Williams has 77 yards plus a score on the ground and Alvin Kamara has 198 yards, four TDs on the ground. New Orleans is first in rushing offense with 370 yards on the ground in the first two games. That does not bode well for an Eagles defense that has given up 315 yards on the ground in their first two games. Philadelphia has struggled to put pressure on the quarterback or force turnovers. The Saints will score points in this one and I look for them to win at home.
