Not much of a road game for the Utes, heading to BYU to continue their climb to the top of the Pac-12 at 9-2. Utes will be without Gabe Madsen, who's averaged 13.3 ppg this year at guard, but the backup for Madsen, Lazar Stefanovic has averaged 9.2 points this season and will be prepared for more time if Madsen is declared out. The defense for the Utes is what really pulls me to their side in this matchup, having only allowed 59.6 ppg and have really only struggled against better defensive teams like Mississippi State and Sam Houston State. BYU sacrifices the defense for more offense and will do their best to contend on defense, however the way the Utes score at a high clip against poor defensive competition; BYU wont be able to focus on defense and keep up the pressure to score like they normally do. Expect BYU to continue the pressing play and try to shoot Utah out the gym, but that gameplan failing miserably as the Utes grind out a dominant low scoring win with defense and efficient scoring.
