Normally I would fade a spread this large, but the Celtics have looked great and in s home spot vs a young and defenseless Pacers team, there shouldn't be a problem for them to cover. Pacers losing by 7 at home to the Bulls who I don't think are very good this season, could spell more trouble vs a Celtics superstar filled roster who has yet to really show the defensive improvements from last year (2-1 to the Over so far) but I think this game we could see some more stops and turnovers caused by the Celtics to cover this spread like we did watching Boston destroy the Wizards 126 - 107. Stylistically the matchups one on one are not ideal for the Pacers and they will be needing to shoot better and prevent teams from shooting better from beyond the arc and thats the key reason for me taking the Celtics tonight, the three point shot. Celtics shot 48% from three point range in their home opener against a much better defensive Miami Heat team and the Pacers have not guarded that level of the field well, allowing 35% or better deep shots to Cavs, Bulls and Wizards who are not better at shooting than Boston. I don't like the over because this game could get out of hand quickly and we would need Pacers to really do a number for us in that regard.
