This line is only close because Memphis need a win and Miami has only covered one spread this season. We saw some good things when Miami recently play the Lakers and I think they bring that momentum on the road to Memphis who are quite frankly terrible without Ja on the floor. Miami has shot much better from long distance as compared to last season and Memphis is 29th in defending the deep shot, and I also expect the Heat to win the battle of the rebounds which will create more scoring opportunities. This win gets Miami to .500 and they do that tonight vs a Memphis team that will be out of playoff contention by Christmas.
