I'm with UIC to potentially upset Jacksonville State. UIC have covered in all their road games so far, including a opening season away game undefeated Cincinnati, covering a 15 pt underdog spread only losing that game by 11. Both teams are top 30 teams defensively, but UIC have a heavier advantage scoring (74 points scored per game on average, 25 three pointers attempted per game and making them at a 36% rate). Jacksonville do not shoot well from deep, which is primarily why they only attempt about 16 per outing, but being that they are also worse of the two teams at defending the deep ball, UIC have a chance to turn this into a track meet and running Jacksonville State out of the building if they hit their average from long distance. Should be a close game regardless, but UIC is where my money is going.
