The pace of these teams is what makes this bet on Miami to cover 14 a comfortable bet, to me. We have a bottom tier pass defense in Tennessee that offensively loves to run the ball, but has had issues moving the ball against tougher run covering teams like we seen in their narrow win vs Carolina, but this game will be much tougher with Miami being top 10 vs the run but also very stingy towards the pass as well, averaging 2 interceptions per game since Jalen Ramsey returned from injury. Miami has only allowed the Raiders and Broncos (No Jalen Ramsey) to throw over 200 yards at home, and have covered the spread 4 of the 5 home games played this season, scoring 30 or more against all the road teams besides the Raiders (who are actually a sneakily good defensively this back half of the season after the coaching change) and they're the only team they didn't cover their double digit spread against. Titans are 4 - 6 ATS as an Underdog, only covering once on the road this season (vs Saints), have been beaten by 14+ by Jaguars, Buccaneers, and Browns.... what do those teams all have in common? A good run defense. This is going to be a tough game for Tennesse and the rookie who looked good vs the Colts inferior pass defense, but the Titans have only scored over 17 points twice since Will Levi's took over for Ryan Tannehill. Heading into Miami to play a team who are a top 3 scoring juggernaut who now have an electric defense..... this Dolphins team could beat the Titans by 20 points here. I like the over as well, but it's reliant on the Titans scoring atleast 2 TDs and not too confident that happens.
