A low scoring game total with two bottom tier offenses, doesn't match the Spread of 7.5 pt underdogs for the Patriots in a primetime spot. I like New Englands ability to run the ball here, against a Denver team we just seen Austin Ekeler, Jahmyr Gibbs and Dameon Peirce all score TDs on the last 3 straight weeks. Zeke Elliot is going to be a workhorse this game, likely to score a TD and that will be the formula for slowing down Denver's offense which should have a tougher time moving the ball with how much they run the ball (Patriots have a top 5 run defense) and the passing gane has been lackluster (Russel Wilson hasn't thrown for over 250 the last 5 games played). Bailey Zappe I admit has been much better at QB (4/2 TD to INT ratio in his 3 starts) including a 3TD game @ Pittsburgh! Broncos really need to win this game and it's likely they do, but in a primetime spot where all eyes are on Coach Belichick who will be auditioning for another job with these last few games of the season (definitely won't be coaching the patriots next year) it's reasonable to believe the Patriots will be trying just as hard as Denver will be to win this game. It's going to be a whiteout, so with snow and everything involved with how bad these teams are offensively, it's safe to side bet the under. But I'm betting the patriots to keep this game within a TD.
