NFL - Packers @ Vikings
(NFL) Green Bay vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -125.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Loss
Vikings should win this game at home, mainly because of the defense is night and day better than previous season thanks to Brian Flores, while Packers are going in the opposite direction defensively than past seasons. Run defense is non existent for the Pack, allowing 135 yards a game on the ground, and surprisingly 216 yards in the air as well without Jaire Alexander available. Vikings have struggled to run the ball, but with newfound runner Ty Chandler who we've seen run for over 130 yards on a weak run defense in Cincinnati recently, he should have much success again in this home spot. Jordan Love has played excellent this season, shocking all doubters but as the team is constructed, I don't see them making a playoff run. One reason I'm really on the Vikings, is because of Justin Jefferson with no real matchup to give him issues, as well as how bad the Packers played @ Carolina last week (33-30 win for Green Bay). Vikings are starting Rookie QB Jaren Hall, who has dynamic dualistic ability to run the ball, so that adds leverage that Nick Mullens didn't have but Josh dobbs did (they won more games with Josh Dobbs) so the edge goes to Minnesota offensively and defensively. Should be a BANGER though. Odd coincidence that the first game this season vs the Packers was the last time we seen Jaren Hall.
