NFL - Texans @ Colts
(NFL) Houston vs. Indianapolis,
Money Line: 106.00 Indianapolis (Home)
Result: Loss
I'm on the Colts here and mainly because the Texans are terrible against the Run and this is a win and get in situation for Indianapolis in a home spot to end the season. I have not been a fan of end the past 5 weeks, showing very mediocre and inconsistent play over that stretch going 3-2 but I will admit they have been a solid at home the last 3 straight and should put number up against a Texans defense that has been non existent from what we seen from Coach Demico Ryan the first part of the season especially on the road (2-2 in the last 4 road games and the 2 games won were only won by a margin of 3 points). This could be where the veteran leadership of Indy, really shines through with Johnathan Taylor and Pittman back healthy the last 2 games and Zach Moss returning to the field after a long injury layoff (was kicking ass to start the season beforehand). I can't trust the Texans DBs to contain Pittman Jr who has been a matchup nightmare for all teams when healthy and Will Anderson is highly questionable to play for Houston so that will ease the pressure on a pass happy Gardner Minshew if Will is inactive for this game. Larry Tunsel is questionable to play for the OLine for Houston, Jimmy Wards on I.R.... It just doesn't seem like the time to take a promising young Team like Houston in a must win situation that will still need the Jags loss to get into the playoffs even if they did win tonight. I'm taking Indy as underdogs at plus money to win this and surprisingly earn a playoff berth without having their rookie QB available for over half the season.
