Result: Win
Point Spread: -1.50 | -113.00 Kansas City (Home)
Result: Win
I'm on KC -1.5 runs at home vs the Miami Marlins for these reasons:
- Cole Ragans is on the mound for the Royals, and he's a trustworthy pitcher to bet on at home. He's 3-2 in KC, 109 strikeouts in 92 innings pitched, 3.13 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. The Marlins aren't a scary batting rotation, especially vs a lefty like Ragans.
- Roddery Munoz is on the mound for the Marlins. He has a 1-2 record, 5.76 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 30 strikeouts in 29 innings pitched. He's better on the road than at home, but the Royals are better at the plate in KC, scoring less han 3 runs only 2 times in the last 10 home games.
- Marlins are the second worst at scoring runs, and Ragans should take advantage at home vs these bats. They don't even steal bases well enough to be a threat if they do get hits on Ragans. I trust in the KC fielding unit as well.
Official Play: Royals -1.5 Runs
Side Bet: Cole Ragans over 6.5 Strikeouts
Hail Mary: Under 9.5
