- Slowing the pace won’t help USA. With Jokic on the other side, USA can’t afford for him to get comfortable.

- USA hasn’t been efficient enough in the paint to slow the pace down offensively anyways. They will be relying on Steph and the shooters in this game, rather than Anthony Davis, Joel and Bam.

- Serbia are actually undersized and shoot well from deep, they should be able to keep this game close by knocking down perimeter shots and making this a shootout
