I’m on the Redsox at home vs the Mariners for these simple reasons:

- Boston are the stronger batting rotation, and got even stronger adding Paxton from the Dodgers to the lineup.

- Seattle are one of the easiest teams to strike out, I don’t see Pivetta having an issue with this rotation that has been sellers before the deadline. The tank is on for Seattle and they will only be weaker by July 30th.

- Logan Gilbert is a good pitcher and he will have a chance to keep things close (that’s why this game is close in odds) but he won’t have the support needed on the other side of the ball to beat Boston.

- Second road series for the Mariners in a row, back to back series at home for the Dodgers who need to bounce back from only scoring 2 runs last outing.
