I like the Red Sox to keep things close here on the road vs the Orioles for these reasons:

- Nick Pivetta is on the mound, he’s 3-3 on the road this season and has a better ERA away from home too. The orioles are a top 10 easiest roster to strikeout. They bat .253 vs righties at home, but Pivetta is only allowing a .193 batting average to lefties which the most dangerous hitters for Orioles are southpaws (Gunnar, Cowser, and the switch hitters Santander and Rutschman). Pivetta will give the Redsox a chance to win defensively.

- Redsox are facing Zach Eflin who is 4-2 at home, but is 1-0 at home for the Orioles, beating the Bluejays. He isn’t definitively better vs any handed batter, and he’s been hit more at home than on the road. I trust the Boston bats more than the Orioles bats in this matchup, they bat .265 vs righties and Devers, Yoshida, and Duran are batting .300 and better vs righties. Trust these lefties, not the Orioles.
