The Reds are coming into this game playing in some lower scoring games recently but they are coming off of a game with 11 runs in their last one and their offense has been starting to heat up once again. They are going up against a Dodgers team that has been playing in a lot of high scoring games recently as they have had 11 runs total or more in 2 of their last 3 as well as 7 of their last 9 games and they have one of the best offenses in the league as well. They are going to be hungry to bounce back with that potent offense as well after losing on Friday night and they are going to need their offense here as they have Emmet Sheehan starting in this game who is 3-1 with a 6.75 ERA this season. He was good in his first 2 starts but he has been starting to unravel now as he has allowed at least 4 earned runs in each of his last 3 straight starts and allowed 8 earned runs in his last one. The Reds have had a very good offense over the last few weeks and they are going to find ways to score runs here with how bad Sheehan has been recently. Luke Weaver is starting for the Reds here and he is 2-2 with a 7.20 ERA this season. He has been awful all season with the number of runs he has been allowing and even in his recent starts he has allowed at least 3 earned runs in each of his last 3 as well as 6 of his last 7 starts. He has been consistently allowing runs all season as only 1 of his 17 starts this year has seen him allow no runs and he is going to get himself into trouble here against one of the best offenses in the league that will be hungry to bounce back as well. Between these two teams, there will be enough runs in this game to push it over the total.
