UTEP is coming into this game off of a 28-14 win against Incarnate Word but they struggled in that game and they were at home. They have already chalked up a conference loss this season as well in their only road game and that was a game they really struggled to score in despite moving the ball well. They have struggled a lot on the road going back to last season and after seeing their passing game last week, they are very inconsistent with Hardison. They are going up against a Northwestern team that was awful in their last game as they lost 24-7 on the road against Rutgers in a game where they struggled to move the ball and did not score until the end of the game. Northwestern has an awful team this season after the hazing scandal and they are not fully prepared under their interim head coach. They are going to play better here since they are at home but all they have is their defense to lean on against a struggling UTEP offense. This Northwestern offense will not be able to do much either as UTEP has not been allowing a lot of points in their games. This is going to be a low scoring game that stays under the total.
