Temple is coming into this game off of a 24-21 win against Akron in their last game. That game was at home as well and they still struggled on offense as they were trailing late and had to make a comeback. Their defense held up well when it needed to though and they are not going to have a potent offense to worry about here as they are going up against a Rutgers team with a very good defense that does not score many points. Rutgers is coming off of a huge home win in the conference as they beat Northwestern 24-7. Their defense did not allow much as they played very well but their offense also struggled at times to score. Temple has EJ Warner as their QB but he needs time to get better in this offense and he is going to find it hard to move the ball on this good Rutgers defense on the road. Rutgers will not score many points either on this Temple defense though so there will not be a lot of points in this game. This is going to be a low scoring game that stays under the total.
