The Seahawks are coming into this game playing much better recently as they have won their last 2 straight games since losing their 1st of the season but their defense has not been good in these games. They have allowed over 30 points in 2 of their 3 games this season and have allowed at least 27 points in all 3 games. Their worst game defensively this season was also their 1 road game so far as they allowed 31 points in that game, the most they have allowed in 1 game this year, and they also allowed over 400 yards of offense. Their defense has been allowing a lot of yards and a lot of points in their games this season so as bad as the Giants offense has been, they are going to have success moving the ball here. The Giants have lost 2 of their 3 games to start this season and they have not played well in any of those games as they even had to come back from a large deficit in their only win this season to just barely beat the Cardinals. They were smashed by the Cowboys and the 49ers in their 2 losses as they lost 40-0 and 30-12 respectively, but those 2 teams also have 2 of the best defenses in the NFL and they are both top 5 teams in the league from a roster standpoint so the Giants have not had an easy schedule to open the season like the Seahawks have had. The Giants will likely be missing Saquon Barkley here and that is a huge loss but the strength of the Seahawks defense is run defense so the Giants are going to have a much easier time throwing it here as the Seahawks have one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL this season. The Giants are also going to be desparate for a win as they can still salvage their season with a 2-2 start and they will be hungry to show here at home in prime time that they are not as bad a team as seen in the first 3 weeks. The Giants will cover the spread in this game.
