AMEDEUS' CFB BLOWOUT BLITZ!
(NCAAF) UNLV vs. Nevada,
Point Spread: 8.00 | -110.00 Nevada (Home)
Result: Loss
UNLV is coming into this game with a 4-1 record this season but they have not played any good teams in that span. Their 1 loss this year was to Michigan who is a very good team but their 4 wins have come against teams with losing records this year. They beat Vanderbilt and UTEP who are both 2-5 this season, they beat Hawaii who is 2-4, and even the FCS team they played is only 2-3. They are going up against a Nevada team that has been awful this season as they are 0-5 but they are going to be very hungry to win their 1st game of the season here at home, especially in this rivalry game as they are coming out of their bye week. Nevada has also played a much tougher schedule as they may be 0-5 but every team they have played has a winning record. They have lost games to Texas State who is 4-2, Fresno State and Kansas who are both 5-1, USC who is 6-0, and even the FCS team they played is 5-1 and leading their conference. Nevada has had a much tougher schedule this year and they are going to play much better in this rivalry game, especially since they get up for this game against UNLV every year. UNLV has only won 5 of the last 18 meetings between these two teams and none of those wins have been by more than 6 points. Nevada is going to be hungry for their 1st win of the season at home here and they are going to get up for this game. Nevada will cover the spread here.
