The Commanders are coming into this game off of a bad loss to the Bears in their last game on Thursday night. They lost at home by 20 points but they have had some extra time to prepare for this game due to playing on Thursday and they are going to be hungry to bounce back here. That was a bad spot for them as they were coming off of an emotional loss to the Eagles and were on a short week but now they will be hungry to bounce back and their offense has still been good scoring over 50 points in their last 2 games. Their defense has struggled in their games but they are going up against a Falcons team that likes to run the ball and that is going to be easier for this Commanders defense to stop as they will not allow many big plays through the air here. The Falcons are coming off of a win in their last game against the Texans buit even their last 2 wins have only been by 2 points or less and both came at home. The Falcons beat the Texans 21-19 but their offense has not been great recently as they have scored 7 points or less in 2 of their last 3 games as well. The Commanders defense is not going to shut down the Falcons like those other games but they will definitely stop this weaker Falcons offense from scoring a lot of points as scoring has been an issue for them and the Commanders have the offense to get out to a big lead in this game.
