The Commanders are coming into this game off of a win in their last game against the Falcons and they are now 3-3 this season but they have still lost 3 of their last 4 games. Their defense was better in their last game against a struggling Falcons offense but their defense has not been great this season as they have still allowed over 30 points in 4 of their last 5 games. They are going up against a Giants team that is 1-5 this season as they have been awful but they played much better in their last game on the road as they only lost 14-9 against the Bills and even had a chance to win the game on the last drive. Their offense was a lot better now that Saquon Barkley is back and they are going to get up for this divisional game at home since they need a win badly to stop the bleeding and the Commanders are a team they can beat. Their defense has been a lot better over their last 3 games as they held the Seahawks to 24 points, the Dolphins to 31, and the Bills to 14, all of these teams having very strong offenses. The Commanders have not been able to stop the run that well in their games either so Barkley is going to break off some big runs in his 2nd game back and that is going to open up the passing game for the Giants to attack the Commanders secondary which has not been great either. The Giants have been in a spiral from the 1st game of the season but they are a better team than the way they have been playing and they have been starting to show signs of life in their last few games. The Giants will cover the spread in this game.
