The Raiders are coming into this game with a 3-4 record this season but they have been overachieving a little up to this point and are starting to regress now. They lost their last game on the road by 18 points against the Bears who are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season and that was right after winning 2 straight games at home against bad teams in the Patriots and the Packers who have a combined 4-11 record overall. Now they are playing their 2nd straight road game here and they are going up against a Lions team that was embarrassed against the Ravens last week and will be hungry to bounce back. The Lions lost on the road against the Ravens 38-6 but they have been very dominant in their other games as they have still won 4 of their last 5 games scoring at least 20 points in all 4 wins while allowing 6 points or less in 2 of those as well. The Lions responded in a big way after losing at home to the Seahawks earlier this year as they allowed 37 points in that loss but followed up with a 20-6 win at home against the Falcons. This is a very similar situation for the Lions as they got blown out and gave up over 30 points to one of the better teams in the NFL, but now they are coming back home with the mindset of getting that win back and they are going up against one of the worst defenses in the NFL who are playing their 2nd straight road game here. The Lions are going to cover the spread in this game.
