AMEDEUS' CFB THURSDAY THRASHER!
(NCAAF) Virginia vs. Louisville,
Point Spread: -20.50 | -109.00 Louisville (Home)
Result: Loss
Louisville is coming into this game with an 8-1 record overall and right now they are in control of their own fate as they are the only team along with Florida State who only have 1 loss or less in the ACC this season. Louisville has a real chance at going to the ACC Championship if they run the table and they have already won their last 2 games in dominant fashion after taking their 1st loss of the season. They beat Duke 23-0 and Virginia Tech 34-3 as their offense has been performing well at home scoring points, but their defense has been on lock down recently performing even better against these bad teams. They are going up against another bad team in Virginia here as they are only 2-7 overall this season and they were awful in their last game as well, getting blown out 45-17 by Georgia Tech. Virginia has actually managed to keep their other conference games recently much closer than that last game against Georgia Tech, but that loss against GA Tech also put them out of bowl contention for the season so there is no real motivation for Virginia to perform on the road here as their season is pretty much over while Louisville still has lots to play for with the ACC Championship on the line. Louisville is going to score points here at home as Virginia has been awful on defense, but Virginia's bad offense is also going to struggle to move the ball with the way this Louisville defense has been playing. Louisville will cover the spread in this game.
