Ole Miss is coming into this game with an 8-1 record this season and they have been playing well recently with 4 straight wins since losing to Alabama. They are coming off of a tight 3 point win at home against Texas A&M in their last game and they have only played 2 road games in the SEC this year as well, beating Auburn by 7 and losing to Alabama by 14. Defense has also been an issue for Ole Miss against better offenses as they allowed 35 points against Texas A&M in their last game and also allowed 49 points against LSU. They are going up against a Georgia team that is 9-0 this season and they have been ramping up in their recent games after a slower start to the season. Their defense has not been as good this season as they have allowed at least 20 points in 3 straight games, but 2 of those games were on the road as they still have a very good defense that has played much better at home. Georgia has also been playing much better on offense since their scare against Auburn earlier this season and now that they have a clear path to the SEC Championship, they will be hungry to shut down another ranked team here at home and try to take back their number 1 ranking in the college football playoff rankings.
