Yale is coming into this game with a 5-3 record this season but they have not been at their best in their recent games. They have 2 wins and 2 losses in their last 4 games and they are coming off of a win at home against Stony Brook. They have played 3 road games this season and have lost 2 of them with their only win coming in a close 3 point game against Loyola Marymount. They are going up against a Vermont team that is 6-2 this season and they also have 2 wins and 2 losses in their last 4 games. Vermont's 2 losses were against much better teams though as they lost to a 6-2 Liberty team at a neutral location and also lost to a 6-1 Bradley team in their only road game of the season. They have been much better at home though as they have won all 4 games there this year and the 2 wins there that were against Division I schools were also wins by 10+ points. Vermont has had a very strong home advantage over the last few years as well and this is going to be a very tough road game for Yale to win. Vermont also lost last year on the road against Yale in the middle of a stretch where Vermont started the season playing 1 home game in their first 9 games of the season and they were embarrassed in that game as well, losing by close to 30 points. Vermont will be coming for their revenge at home here and they will not only be looking to win this game but to embarrass Yale in the same way Yale did to them last season.
