San Jose State is coming into this game with a 5-4 record this season but they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight games with both of those losses coming on the road and they have actually lost all 3 of their road games this season, 2 of those losses coming by 10+ points. Their last 2 losses have not even come against good teams either as they lost to a 3-5 Cal Poly team and a 3-4 Montana team. They did beat North Dakota State prior to these last 2 losses as that was their last win, but that win came at home and now they have to go on the road for their 3rd straight road game having played 2 other teams since that meeting with North Dakota State. They are going up against a North Dakota State team that is 4-4 this season and is going to be well rested here at home as they have not played a game since losing to San Jose State on the road in that game. North Dakota State has opened their season with a much tougher schedule than San Jose State and most of their games have been away from home as well. ND State has 2 wins on the road this season against Montana and Western Michigan while all of their losses have come against teams with winning records. They have also played just 2 games at home this season with both of those being wins against teams not in Division I so this is actually their 1st home game of the season against another Division I school and they have the revenge factor here as well since their last game was a loss on the road to San Jose State. This is a much better spot for ND State to win at home here and they are the more tested team with the schedule they have played. North Dakota State will cover the spread here.
