The Seahawks are coming into this game with a 6-6 record this season and they are coming into this game with the mindset of it being a must win game for them if they want to make a playoff run still. They are coming off of a loss on the road on Thursday night against the Cowboys but they played very well in that game to try and win as they ended up losing 41-35. The Seahawks have lost their last 3 straight games and they are now in desperation mode as it was on display against the Cowboys on Thursday. They are playing their 2nd straight road game here but they do have some extra rest since they played on Thursday and they are going to throw everything they have at the 49ers here to try and win this game and keep their playoff hopes alive. They were also embarrassed by the 49ers at home just 2 weeks ago as they lost 31-13 on Thanksgiving when all eyes were on them so they are going to be extra motivated in this game with revenge on their mind as well. They are going up against a 49ers team that is 9-3 this season and has been rolling since their last loss with 4 straight wins now, but this is also a very bad spot for the 49ers as well. The 49ers are coming off of a huge win against the Eagles in Philadelphia as they destroyed them 42-19 and there is no doubt with the way they played that game that they had that one circled since losing in the NFC Championship last year. This is a divisional game but it is also going to be a let down spot for the 49ers here off of that win and at this point in the season where both teams are at, this game means a lot more to the Seahawks this week.
