The Steelers are coming into this game with a 7-6 record this season but they have not been playing well in their recent games. They are still right in the playoff race with their 7-6 record but they have lost their last 2 games as well as 3 of their last 4. They lost to the Patriots at home in their last game as well as losing to the Cardinals at home, but they still have a very good team with a solid defense and they are going to be hungry to bounce back here after 2 embarrassing results to 10 loss teams at home. Trubisky was awful against the Patriots last week as he really struggled with turnovers but he also had very short notice for that game as it was on Thursday night and he was thrown into the game against the Cardinals not expecting to start 4 days later as well. Now he has had extra time to prepare for this game with the extra days of rest and he has shown that he knows how to run this offense. Trubisky is going to bounce back in this offense here and the team is going to respond to their last 2 losses. They are going up against a Colts team that is also 7-6 this season and need to win this game to stay in the Wild Card race with the strength of the AFC right now, but the Colts have actually been worse at home this season as they are 2-4 there. They have also had a problem on defense all season as they allow a lot of points and just allowed at least 28 points in each of their last 2 games. The Steelers are not only going to bounce back offensively against this awful Colts defense, but the Steelers also have the much better defense to lean on here and they will cause problems for the Colts all game. The Steelers are going to cover the spread in this game.
