The Browns are coming into this game with an 8-5 record this season and right now they control their own fate for the Wild Card. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games but both of those losses came on the road and they are coming off of a win in their last game which they bounce back in back at home. The Browns played very well last week as they beat the Jaguars 31-27 and this will now be Joe Flacco's 3rd start in the offense which he has been playing well in the last 2 games. The Browns are still fighting for the playoffs here and they need this win to keep their number 1 Wild Card spot, but Flacco also has some extra incentive here as he is playing for a job in the NFL still, even if it is not with the Browns come next season. They are going up against a Bears team that is 5-8 this season and has been playing much better recently as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games. The Bears have been playing better recently but their offense has still been very inconsistent with Justin Fields as they have scored 16 points or less in 2 of their last 4 games. They are also coming off of a big divisional win at home against the Lions last week in a revenge game from an earlier loss in Detroit which they blew a late lead in so they put a lot of emotion into beating the Lions last week and will have a bit of a let down here. The Browns also have one of the better defenses in the NFL that Fields is going to struggle heavily against since he has not seen a defense like this recently. The Browns are going to cover the spread in this game.
